I just had a bloody nose...an intense bloody nose at 8AM!!!!

I just wanted to explain how annoying they are. They all of a sudden creep up and they don't come out slowly, oh no, it's like someone turned the faucet on all the way so that it comes shooting out with so much force, like a stream....or waterfall since it's kind of in that sort of position.

AND since I happen to be the most unlucky person I know it not only ends up all over my nose and mouth, down my chin, it also ends up all over the front of my shirt. I think it's motto is the same one that's used for Carls Jr. "If it doesn't get all over the place, it doesn't belong in your face." Yeah..that's definitely it's motto.

I know this is probably Too Much Info for you all, but that's my morning so far.

Is my middle name, or at least it will be for this year and hopefully many years that follow.

If you haven't noticed I've been attacked by a creative bug and it's infested my entire thinking process, which involves me looking at everything and saying "Hmm...I really think I can make that..." And since Daniel and I have been going to Barnes and Noble, whenever we have free time (we try to go everyday), I've been looking at craft books. OHHHHH man I am so inspired that it's all I think about all day long...ok not entirely because I think about Daniel and also Twilight a lot, but it does drive me insane because I want to constantly be working on a project.

So this is what I have decided to do about it. I'm going to spend this whole year learning how to do everything my heart desires.
In no particular order this is what I want to accomplish, crafting wise:

-Re-upholster a chair

-Make lots of stuffed animals (I've made one so far)

-Make clothing

-Make a scrapbook, or something a long those lines

-Create my own stamps

-Take lots of pictures of sunsets (I have an idea of showing the difference everyday makes to the sky)

-Make a quilt

-Make a Fabric headboard for a bed

I think that's pretty much it, if I think up some more I'll let you know, or if you have any good ideas please share with me.

I really hope I can at least accomplish some of these crafts.

There will be no creating today though, because tonight Daniel, Mickey, and I will be going to The Smell to watch Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth perform. So excited, hopefully we'll be able to get in. I don't know how popular this show will be. Wish us luck that we get in!

All I know is that I don't know what I just signed myself up for by agreeing to going tonight...I need to be prepared to have my ears talked off by the Love Twins (Daniel and Mickey) who have never ending conversations about music and photography. I think it's safe to say that I know everything about both now...ok...not everything, but I've heard enough to feel pretty dang knowledgeable.

Valentines Weekend / Twilight?

So Daniel kicked off Valentines day by "accidentally" biting my lip, which in turn made it bleed. I think we've been reading too much Twilight lately and we can just blame it on that.

Speaking of Twilight, I've finally finished all four books + edwards side from book 1. I am actually extremely sad the whole experience is over, it was so much fun while it lasted. I actually started to read slower towards the last few chapters of the 4th book, but then I just really wanted to know how it ended so I raced right to it.

Now that I've read it I want to let everyone know that IT'S NOT LIKE HARRY POTTER. Unless you count the part where there's more than one book to the whole thing and that it's become super popular. The only thing they have in common is the fact that Rob Pattinson places Edward Cullen in the Twilight movie and Cedric Diggery in the Harry Potter movie, but just because they have the same actor does not mean that they are about the same thing. So read it if you were afraid it was just like Harry Potter.

Speaking of Rob Pattinson, I think I've finally developed an actor crush! I've never had one before...well I've had a television actor crush and now this is a movie actor crush? Ugh, don't know, don't care. All I know is he's cute and when I watch him in the movie I think I blush everytime he smiles....ridiculous! (P.S. he's the one on the right)
Anyways, back to Valentines Day, Daniel made me a box out of metal which has stacks of paper in it with lovey dovey notes on each sheet, but I can only read one a day, which is so exciting! I told you hand made things are the best presents.
We spent all weekend tied to the hip (until bed time when we separate to sleep in our own houses). We went to LACMA, to a wonderful used bookstore in Glendale, We finally fixed my car so it no longer screeches whenever I turn it on, we watched Twilight online because I can't get enough, we read books in Barnes & Noble, we just had a fun filled weekend. So when 10:30 pm hit last night I wasn't ready to go back to work the next day and Daniel wasn't either. I can't help but love spending all my time with Daniel, he makes me the happiest woman among all women.
I wonder if I can start a "Bring your Daniel to work Day!"?

Valentines Day

So last Valentines Day I made something special for Daniel and I think he loved it, and if he didn't I really just love the way it turned out.
I think I prefer homemade things for Valentines Day. I think because it looks like you put more of your heart and mind into creating something unique and special for the one you love, but that's just my preference. And I'm not saying that if Daniel wanted to get me fancy things I would dismiss it (Daniel I still like fancy things!!!!).

So first off I purchased this box set from the Martha Stewart section at Michaels. (I think this item is seasonal and only comes around Valentines.)

Then I purchased variations of reds and pinks and hearts and lovey dovey scrap book paper.

Then the last step was to write down lyrics to every song that has ever been "Our Song" or just reminds me of good times or just silly songs that are sort of inside jokes. Then I would write which artist sang it. I think it would be good to know for the future because I easily forget old music and we can be like "Hey remember when we first started dating and "Anthem for a Seventeen-year old" was Our Song?" and Daniel will say "yeah, totally!" then he'll wink or something. Man I can't wait!
Any ways, back to reality I then went to work.

I got rid of all the unnecessary junk inside the kit and just worked with the box, it was some off-white color and it was just too boring for my taste, so I cut a heart shape out of the scrap paper and pasted on top.

Which turned out like this:

The last process was to trace the heart shape so I can fit other scrap paper inside with my song lyrics, then used that sheet as a stencil for all of the others. Which in turn created all of these:
If you have never listen to Neutral Milk Hotel's version of this song you're totally missing out. It's one sweet song. (Above)

If you are reading the Jim O'Rourke lyric (Above) and thinking "What The...?" Don't think any harder about it. For some strange reason Daniel caught my attention with the crazy lyrics Jim O'Rourke had, he would quote them to me while we were friends (we have a strange sense of humor). It does say sweet though!

So those are some of my hearts that I made. There are more here.
I hope the new craft I make will be as successful. Wish me luck! And I hope everyone else has a lovely Valentines Day as well, even if you don't have someone. I feel like tomorrow is just a day of love, show your dog/cat or family you love them. Everyone needs some love.
I feel bad for Daniel because I'll end up giving Hazel most of my lovin. Sorry dude.

Completing Tasks

I've been working on editing some photo's I've neglected for quite some time. Still not done, but it feels nice to be close to finished.

I've also been an extremely terrible blogger lately, neglecting the internet kind of sucks. I really enjoying sharing some part of me on here.

So I'm not about to blog a whole lot, just share some pictures I liked.

This one is of my baby brother Diego, doing the TIGER CLAW attack:

My Pop's on the Grill, it's such a cool grill:

Mickey being a complete dork, this is he's rocker disguise and if you can't tell he gets really into it, so much so he pushed me out of the shot because "the rocker" thinks he needs all the spotlight:

This is my dolled up sister Brooke, I forced make-up on her, not too bad looking:

This is normal Brooke, with no make-up, I like her more this way:

So, those are just a few of my favorites that I edited.

More for tomorrow about Valentines. I finally came up with what I would create for Daniel, but i would like to show some pictures of last years craft I made him for Valentines Day. That's all, til tomorrow!

We're going to Pasadena tonight to have some good 'ol fun with Daniel's old friend Linz.

This was taken the last time we were down there. It's such a beautiful city. AND how can you go wrong with a two-story Forever21?

Sorry I'm a super lame blogger, finals this week are stressing me out. I also had to take a test today so I could get a raise. Hopefully I get it, I need more money because I barely live paycheck to paycheck and someday I'd like to live on my own.

Someday...well I'm off to kiss the tests goodbye and say HEEELLLOOO PASADENA YOU BEAUTIFUL CITY! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?

While I'm at it I'll probably ask Daniel the same question. Where was he?Why was I honestly missing out on so much fun for 19 years? What was he thinking?

p.s. Already on to the third book of the Twiligh Series. I seem to have a new annoyance with each book I read...right now it's Selfish Bella....hah...I'm a dork.

Too good to talk

...Sorry, not that I'm too good to talk, it's just that something else is so wonderful that it's keeping me from posting anything.

I'd like you all to blame my non-posting on theTwilight Series.

Yeah....I've been bitten, no pun intended. (It's based on vampires? get it?)

Anyways, I'm going back to fantasy land, it's so much more fun than blogging about my actual life.

**Posts will resume when I stop reading all the books...I'm kidding, seriously! I plan on blogging sometime today. This one doesn't count.
